Contest #1 is a FREE ENTRY photo contest that will run through our Social Media channels - using the submission hashtag #ThamesRiverPicContest for consideration. Go down to the river and take your absolute BEST picture - any spot on the Thames river is eligible. Entry is free with that hashtag, and only entries with that hashtag are eligibile.

 

At the end of June, our panel of photographers and artists will convene and select the winner who took the best shot. And the prize? Well, let's say it rhymes with "mash" and "honey".

RULES:

No hardcore photo editing  - Instagram Filters are fine, but we don't want to see you photoshopping this image other than colour touchups. No replacing skies, adding birds, etc. It's got to be authentic.

THE THAMES RIVER HAS TO BE VISIBLE IN THE PIC. The River in Ontario - not the UK "original". We should be able to verify the shot with the winner simply by going to the location near the river. North, South, or Middle branch. Pictures that don't show the river will be disqualified.

Think artistically. Show us a side of the river we haven't seen before.
